My Journey
My Journey
I’m a mum, wife, and lifelong mover who believes looking after your body and mind should feel natural and enjoyable, not a chore. My love for movement began at the age of seven with dance, which eventually led me to study at The Laban Centre in London. I performed and taught dance while continuing to gain qualifications in Fitness, Education, and Nutrition.
Teaching in Performing Arts colleges showed me how to help people move better, feel stronger, and grow in confidence, lessons I bring into every Pilates and Yoga class I teach today. Movement and self-care have carried me through life’s toughest moments, and I love sharing that energy and inspiration with my students. My days are fuelled by running, yoga, coffee, laughter, and, most importantly, my family, who are my biggest motivation.
Creating Sculpt
After becoming a mum, I wanted to bring balance back into my life, and Sculpt was born. What started as a dance and conditioning class has evolved into Sculpt Yoga and Pilates, offering inclusive, creative classes that combine Pilates, Yoga, and mindful movement. Whether in Barnsley or online, my mission is to help people feel better, physically and mentally, every time they step on the mat.
“Change happens through movement and movement heals.”
My Approach
I’m a Level 3 Pilates Instructor, Level 4 Yoga Instructor, and Health Coach with Nutritional Guidance, with additional training in ETM, Step, and Dance Fitness. My classes are about connection, confidence, and care, helping every student feel supported, challenged, and inspired to move well and live well.
